Kellogg's, in association with Nails Inc. London, were launching a limited edition Special K Red nail varnish. They required a rare alternative version of their iconic 'K' logo to look as though made from red nail varnish.
Using the existing Kellogg's 'K' as a template, we created a digital 3D model version with curves and form, just as it would be shaped if made from poured varnish. We carefully lit and rendered the K with reflections, giving a beautiful glossy effect. When dropped into the pack artwork, along with a shot of the actual product, it gives a seamless impression of nail varnish as well as retaining the famous iconic 'K' symbol.
This was one of only a handful of occasions in Kellogg's history when the famous 'K' has been allowed to be altered from it's trademarked image.
