Studio Liddell’s New Technology Team have been designing and creating apps, interactive touchscreen applications, Leap Motion, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality projects for over twelve years.  Our highly experienced group of developers is drawn from the worlds of video game development and interactive media. As premium content producers we are platform, technology, and hardware agnostic, working across all leading desktop and mobile devices. Our robust studio pipeline means we create animation, graphics, and interactive projects such as VR in one process, allowing us to be very efficient and cost-effective with our work.

Clients include Merck Pharmaceuticals, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Historic Scotland, Digitas, Princes Foods, and more.

 

VR & AR

From the development of interactive medical, technical and sporting applications in VR to complementing children’s TV series, historic buildings and famous brands in the retail space through AR, our team has a broad experience across multiple sectors. Recent projects include a VR exploration of Multiple Sclerosis for Merck Pharmaceuticals, and an AR Marketing App for Princes Foods.

 

INteractive & APPS

The team have designed and developed apps for some of the most popular children’s TV brands over the last five years such as Cloudbabies, Roary The Racing Car, Little Charley Bear and Poppy Cat.

In 2016 our interactive work has taken us to the USA, Germany, France, Greece, Finland and China.  Working in close consultation with our clients we always deliver expert advice in the design, production and delivery stages of our projects.  We can also provide first class support on location with our software to ensure exhibitions, congresses and presentations are successfully delivered to your clients.

Peter Caddock

Peter has decades of knowledge, expertise and 'hands-on' experience as a producer, game designer and developer in both 2D and 3D. With many years experience developing VR & AR projects he is a passionate advocate of immersive technologies and working extensively in entertainment, broadcast and interactive industries has given Peter great insight into the design and development of interactive storytelling.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Simon Smith

Simon’s background is over 15 years in Business Development & Production in the video games industry and his remit at Studio Liddell is to develop new business in the VR & AR and Interactive sectors. He has worked at Codemasters, Sony PlayStation, and Blitz Games where he worked on many licensed titles including the Clio-award-winning Burger King Advergames.
