About the Role:
An opening has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to be permanently based in our London office.
Reporting directly to the Development Director and Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships with brand, advertising and digital agencies and direct with clients, procuring projects on an on-going basis and growing those relationships into key accounts which you will have ownership of.
Travel to the main production studio in Manchester will be required at times, however, your sales responsibilities will be predominantly based in London and the South.
About you:
You will be able to show a solid track record of working within the creative industry. The ability to communicate, negotiate and converse both on business and technical matters that relate to animation, digital production and interactive projects is crucial. Some production process knowledge is beneficial.
You will be self-motivated and confident in leading the business development activities in London & the South, whilst retaining a personable and professional manner. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to utilise MS Office and equivalent Apple packages as well as some Adobe software is required.
Existing, strong relationships with art directors, planners and producers at agencies and with marketing departments of direct clients are a distinct advantage.
