CoronaSDK Developer

CoronaSDK Developer:

Studio Liddell are looking to expand our New Technologies team at our central Manchester studio.

We are looking for an intermediate level CoronaSDK programmer with a proven track record in developing a variety of interactive applications and games across at least one of the following platforms,

iOS,
Android.

The successful candidate(s) will have a 12-18 months experience developing with the CoronaSDK framework. You will be expected to show a broad knowledge of software and game development. You should also be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of external tools that compliment the CoronaSDK pipeline.

Familiarity with associated asset development tools such as Adobe Illustrator/ Flash/ Photoshop / FCP / After Effects / Audio editing tools is also advantageous.

Candidate are expected to have developed and published project using CoronaSDK and either the Apple iOS SDK or the Android SDK. You will demonstrate this with relevant examples of your work such as published Apps or games in the App Store or the Amazon App Store (or equivalent).

A good knowledge of any of the following are additional advantages to a respective candidate:

Candidates should be self motivated, capable of working alone or as part of a team, to strict and often tight deadlines, accurately to a brief and display good communication skills.

Unity Developer

Studio Liddell are looking to expand our New Technologies team at our central Manchester studio.

We are looking for an intermediate level Unity programmer with a proven track record in developing a variety of interactive applications and games across at least two of the following platforms, PC/Mac, iOS, Android.

The successful candidate(s) will have a minimum of two years experience developing with the Unity game engine. You will be expected to show a broad knowledge of software development using C Sharp or Javascript in the context of Unity. You should also be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the Unity asset pipeline, all internal toolsets and features.

Familiarity with associated asset development tools such as 3DS Max / Maya / Photoshop / FCP / After Effects / Audio editing tools is also expected.

Candidates are expected to have developed Apps using Unity and either the Apple iOS SDK or the Android SDK. You will demonstrate this with relevant examples of your work such as published Apps or games in the App Store or the Amazon App Store (or equivalent).

Junior / Intermediate Programmer - Manchester

We're expanding our Technical Department and as such are looking for a Junior / Intermediate programmer with Python experience to join us in our Manchester studio. You'll want to write code that makes people's lives easier whilst at the same time making workflows more efficient and less error prone.

Required Skills
- Some working experience with Python
- An excellent understanding of programming languages/techniques
- A pragmatic approach to solving complex programming/production issues
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Junior Renderer / Lighting Artist - Manchester

We're expanding our Rendering team and are looking for a Junior Renderer for shot lighting and rendering for various commercial and entertainment projects. You should have a thorough knowledge of 3D computer graphics, with some experience preferable. You will have a well developed 'eye', a good knowledge of art, design and film lighting as well as a solid technical grounding in renderers like Vray or Mental Ray. Some experience in Look Development and shader setup would be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Maya
- Familiarity with pipeline issues

Motion Graphics / Comp Artist - Manchester

We're looking for a team player who matches our strategic direction with the appropriate design flair for our broadcast projects. You will work closely with our creative directors and other team members to execute a creative approach. You should display strong artistic aptitude with an exceptional sense of design and a clear interest in motion graphics and related technology. He or she should relish the challenge of a fast paced working environment whilst still being able to maintain the high standards we work to. A strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.

Required Skills
- A minimum of 2 years education or 3 years motion design work experience
- Advance knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred.
- Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work well with others and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualities
- Ability to articulate creative ideas
- Aptitude for quick creative thinking with serious attention to detail

- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people
